USS Kretchmer Roster of Sailors

We are attempting to compile a list of all personnel who served aboard the U.S.S. Kretchmer. Microfilms of the muster rolls are available to the public from December 14, 1943 through 1970 from the Veterans Administration in College Park, Maryland. The rolls for 1971, which contain Social Security numbers, are not available for privacy reasons. Muster rolls were only taken every few months, so those who were only aboard very briefly might not be listed on the microfilms. Each microfilm contains an average of one year of muster rolls. However, there is a cost of $34.00 per roll, which is slowing our efforts. We would like to fill in as much information as possible, even for those who may be deceased. Contributions of information or photos are greatly appreciated.
