The attached picture of the Kretchmer in China was taken by a chinese as we went up the Wangpoo River into Shanghai. He had them on a postcard by the next day. It is considered public domain. I took the liberty of removing a few creases, etc. that occurred over the past 58 years. This is what I painted my first Kretchmer painting from. I just put her out in the ocean.

The "Bunnies" picture was taken in 1972 when we were in New Orleans at the time of the Super Bowl. The New Orleans Bunny Club sent Bunnies to meet us at the pier. The Boatswain mates had a hard time concentrating on the ropes while tying up the ship.
7. Burial at sea
The attached picture is burial at sea between 1970-72. The burial was in the form of ashes rather than a body.
